Peace through evaluation, learning and adaptation (PELA II)

Enhancing USAID’s effectiveness in preventing and countering violent extremism, peacebuilding, and strengthening democracy, human rights, and good governance in West Africa.

Khulisa Management Services Inc, and subcontractors Dexis Consulting Group, Itad Inc., with five local resource partners, recently commenced implementing a programme for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to support Peace through Evaluation, Learning, and Adaptation (PELA II) in West Africa.

The purpose of this programme is to enhance USAID’s effectiveness in preventing and countering violent extremism, peacebuilding, and strengthening democracy, human rights, and good governance in West Africa.

The five-year PELA II programme, which began on 1 October 2022, supports activities in 21 countries throughout West Africa.

Program outputs will include monitoring and evaluation services, analytical research, knowledge utilisation, and Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting activities for USAID/West Africa.

The initial focus is expected to be the West Africa Coastal Region.
