Webinar to share lessons from Adolescents 360 evaluation

Itad is hosting a webinar sharing lessons from the evaluation of Adolescents 360.

16/04/2020

Following on from the publication of the Mid Term Review, where the evaluation team reflected on the project’s design phase to distil learning for the programme and the broader community working on AYSRH (Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health), the webinar will share headline findings from the last 18 months since the Review. It will focus on research in Northern and Southern Nigeria and Ethiopia, and share insights on:

  • How A360’s aspirational programming approach is playing out in practice, and how it is helping to position contraception as relevant and valuable to girls as well as helping to mobilise broad support from government, communities and service providers.
  • Challenges and successes in A360’s approach to engaging girls’ mothers and husbands to support them in accessing contraception.
  • The drivers affecting whether girls continue or discontinue contraception after adopting a method through A360.

The webinar will be presented by the evaluation Team Leader Ellie Brown, Process Evaluation lead Mel Punton, and Ethiopia lead researcher Abrehet Gebremedhin. It will take place from 4pm to 5pm BST on 30 April and you can join online on the day.
