We provided an advanced course for professionals who commission or carry out evaluations in the field of conflict prevention and peace-building (CPPB).
The course
The course sets out the fundamental concepts of evaluation (including the latest OECD guidance on CPPB evaluations) and then problematises many of the concepts and methodologies applied to fragile and conflict-affected settings.
The course then goes on to offer alternatives around conflict and stakeholder mapping, and the assessment of impact. The training is run by Channel Research (Belgium) as a one-week residential course.
