Sagar brings over a decade of extensive experience in Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation within the development sector, garnering rich insights from roles in various governmental and non-governmental organizations both in Nepal and abroad. His diverse professional background includes significant contributions to institutions such as the University Grants Commission Nepal, USAID/RTI, the National Department of Education, Micronesia, and Room to Read.Sagar has undertaken leadership responsibilities for overseeing comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, and learning functions in his roles. He has played a pivotal role in aligning these functions with the strategic plans of different organizations, contributing significantly to program development. Notably, his expertise extends beyond national boundaries, as he has provided valuable assistance to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in establishing quality assurance benchmarks and guidelines for schools and higher education.With a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies, Sagar possesses an academic foundation complemented by hands-on experience managing large-scale impact evaluations. His proficiency spans qualitative, quantitative, and mixed research methods, encompassing activities from item development and validation to survey management and reporting. Sagar is well-versed in the intricacies of the data ecosystem, facilitating informed decision-making through his expertise in data collection platform design, real-time data visualization, monitoring, and utilization for informed decision.
