Helen Bailey is an experienced evaluator with nine years’ professional experience in the international development sector. She specialises in markets, financial inclusion and trade.
Helen has provided monitoring, evaluation and learning expertise to a range of bilateral and multilateral donors and foundations. She has led on evidence maps and synthesis, developed theories of change and results frameworks, and conducted portfolio and fund-level evaluations to support evidence-based decision making.
Before joining in Itad in 2017, Helen was a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer at the Institute of Development Studies. There, she designed and managed monitoring and evaluation systems for a portfolio of research and knowledge programmes to assess research impact and policy and advocacy influence. Prior to this, Helen worked at Saana Consulting and carried out independent evaluations of trade and development programmes.
