Clare Stott joined Itad in 2016 as a consultant. Her work at Itad has involved advising on and implementing MEL for global resilience and innovation programmes, including Theory of Change development, evaluation design and implementation, and delivery of associated learning to key clients and wider sector audiences.
Clare has a background in research and programme delivery for climate change in developing countries. Before joining Itad, she was an independent consultant, delivering climate policy, governance and finance projects for the International Institute for Environment and Development. Previously to this, Clare worked with the International Centre for Climate Change and Development in Bangladesh. Her research focussed on climate change adaptation, including work on adaptation technologies and disaster risk reduction. She co-founded and managed a climate change knowledge network that supports climate-related programme and policy development in Bangladesh.
Clare holds a master’s from University College London in anthropology, environment and development, where she specialised in climate change adaptation with a focus on exploring local-level knowledge sharing in coastal Bangladesh.
