In the spirit of friendly competition, each of the five finalists will present seven-minute ‘innovation pitches’ on how to drive inclusion and resilience for savings groups. Participants will be invited to share open and honest feedback on each innovation and will use digital polling to rate each pitch in live time and determine the overall winner of the Innovation Challenge.
The Innovation Challenge was previously intended as a part of the conference ‘SG2020: The Future of Savings Groups,’ which was postponed due to COVID-19. The event will showcase how a fully virtual SEEP Annual Conference will create new kind of inclusive and collaborative learning spaces that bring together existing approaches and pioneering experimentation in the economic development space.
The SEEP Network is one of the partners in the Mastercard Savings Learning Lab, a six-year initiative implemented by Itad and partners.
