The Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) is a World Trade Organisation (WTO) programme which supports Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to be more active players in the global trading system by helping them tackle supply-side constraints to trade.

The aim of the programme

In this way, the programme works towards a wider goal of promoting economic growth and sustainable development and helping to lift more people out of poverty. The programme is helping 46 LDCs worldwide. The purpose of the MTR was to undertake an independent evaluation of the performance of the programme and recommend necessary adjustments. Itad undertook the review in partnership with Saana Consulting. The evaluation applied a combination of desk-based reviews, interviews and fieldwork in 12 countries.
