Tulika Jain

Consultant

Tulika joined Itad in 2023 as a Consultant in the Fragile and Conflict Affected Settings (FCAS) team.

Prior to joining Itad, she gained experience as a Program Manager at Pratham Education Foundation, an education and skilling NGO in India. Tulika supported programs in terms of planning, data analysis, and donor and financial management. Some examples of her work include developing measurement frameworks, writing proposals, working with government partners for advocacy and scale up, training implementation teams, and field work in several parts of rural India. She also worked on an RCT in early childhood education in Gujarat, and a research study on tribal education for the Government of Odisha.

Tulika has an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford, and a BASc in Economics and Global Sustainable Development from the University of Warwick. Her academic and work experience have given her exposure to issues in development such as female education and labour force participation, early childhood education, vocational skilling, and tribal development. She also has experience in conducting mixed-methods research using both experimental and non-experimental techniques.
