Principal Lead - Supplier Management and Procurement

As Principal Lead for Supplier Management, Rachel is responsible for shaping and executing Itad’s Supplier Management Strategy, ensuring that procurement and supply chain principles are embedded across the organisation. This strategic role involves partnering with Business Units and Practices to operationalise supplier engagement, enhance supplier performance, and reduce costs through improved systems and data-driven decision-making. leading efforts to build efficient, high-quality supply chains by identifying key suppliers, fostering strong relationships, and defining Itad’s market offering. Additionally, Rachel oversees the procurement services and ensure compliance with both company and client standards, continuously improving onboarding processes and representing Itad in industry forums.

Rachel continues to advise as a Project Manager across the business. Previous Project Management roles have included, The Fleming Fund, WISH and GPE, The Global Resilience Partnership, in conjunction with KPMG East Africa, Department of Health and Social Care and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

With over 15 years’ experience working in the international development sector she specialises in supporting complex, multi-country organisations with large scale operations, with expertise in streamlining processes and affecting change. Rachel has a first-class degree in International Development with NGO Management and numerous project management qualifications.
