Rachel Eager is a Principal Consultant and the head of Itad’s Knowledge Hub, where she draws on her experience of designing and implementing MEL systems to promote knowledge management and facilitate learning within Itad and with our partners.
She is an experienced mixed-methods, multi-disciplinary researcher with extensive field experience in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Her work includes experimental and theory-based evaluation and participatory research, monitoring and evaluation. She provides technical leadership in several of Itad’s projects on health, climate change, governance and humanitarian assistance.
Rachel received her PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Her research interests include the application of mixed-method evaluation designs in complex contexts, innovative approaches to impact evaluation, participatory processes and evaluation ethics. She is a member of the core team at the Centre for Development Impact.
