Business Development Officer

Meenal leads the coordination of business development activities. These include preparation of proposals and expressions of interest for Inclusive Growth and Climate change practice for a variety of bilateral, multilateral and philanthropic clients.

She also contributes to building new and existing relationships with external consultants and partners in core areas of work. Further, her role involves monitoring and improving of bidding processes and strategy.

Her key areas of expertise include business development, action-based research and analysis, policy planning and advocacy, project/ programme planning and delivery, and knowledge brokering.

She has comprehensive subject knowledge and significant experience in the management consulting industry. Prior to Itad, in her role with Grant Thornton Bharat LLP and KPMG India, she was involved in business development activities such as preparing proposals, writing methodologies, highlighting theory of change from the development projects, identifying experts for Donor agencies like world Bank, ADB, AfDB, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, JICA etc.

She is skilled in the implementation and evaluation of agriculture, livelihood, and infrastructure development projects. Meenal has worked on multiple Government of India as well as Donor-funded management consulting projects like World Bank and ADB to bring new technologies to farms, create storage and processing infrastructure and implement aggregation models for an integrated value chain and cluster development in India.

She has been significantly involved in the implementation of grass-roots development agendas within the agriculture sector. She has independently managed, conceptualized, planned and executed more than 20 projects for capacity building and private sector infrastructure development across India.
