Practice Administrator

Max joined Itad in February 2025 and works as a Practice Administrator in the Fragile and Conflict Affected Settings (FCAS) practice. In this role, Max provides broad support to the FCAS team including support in business development, invoicing, proofreading, organisation, and travel. He has particularly supported Itad’s work with the Integrated Security Fund (ISF), providing administration and support to Itad’s evaluations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the Africa regions.

Before joining Itad, Max completed a Research Assistant internship at the Fund for Peace (FFP) where he made significant contributions to the FFP’s work on conflict prevention. This included conducting desk research, writing drafts of chapters and reports, and coordinating the completion of evaluations of Development Bank operations in FCAS settings. Prior to this, Max studied at the University of Manchester where he received an MA in International Relations. He also holds an BA in History (with a year abroad) from the University of York with a year abroad at the University of British Colombia in Vancouver, Canada. Max has diverse interests including atrocity and conflict prevention, climate change, international cooperation, migration, human rights, and sustainable development.
