Margot Grubert joined Itad in 2023 as a Consultant in the Inclusive Growth and Climate Change team. Margot’s areas of expertise include infrastructure and renewable energy, private sector development, sustainable finance, labour and supply chains, and climate change with a strong focus on gender and inclusion. She has experience in MEL, policy analysis, strategic framework development, and project management.
Prior to joining Itad, Margot worked as a policy analyst at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). There, she developed and implemented strategies pertaining to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable infrastructure, and renewable energy across MENA, Europe, and Central Asia. Margot has also worked for political risk analysis firm Oxford Analytica, UN Peacekeeping, and as a researcher for Oxford’s US-UK Academic Policy Dialogue on Countering Violent Extremism.
Margot has an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford and conducted graduate research on human rights, forced labour, and supply chains.
