Lucy Faulkner is a Senior Consultant at Itad, with 10 years’ experience in international development and research focused on resilience and climate change.
Lucy has managed significant multi-country programmes and led learning events for clients, such as in her role of leading the evaluative monitoring component of DFID’s Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) programme.
She has particular expertise using theory-based, qualitative and participatory approaches at individual case-base and portfolio level. Lucy is also adept in training and facilitation, including running Theory of Change workshops.
Lucy has been a consultant at Itad since 2018. She has a PhD in community resilience and two master’s degrees in international development and research. She contributed to the Fifth IPCC Assessment Report, and has authored several publications in resilience, climate change adaptation and M&E in peer-reviewed journals, working papers and books.
