Jessica Rust-Smith joined Itad in 2014 and works across markets, business and supply chains, agriculture and women’s economic empowerment. She is an experienced evaluator and project manager with expertise in the use of mixed methods, theory-based approaches and data collection and analysis.
Jessica has managed evaluation and learning projects for DFID and the British Council and worked on projects for clients including the MasterCard Foundation, the Gates Foundation, Gatsby Africa, the Rockefeller Foundation and the World Bank. For this work, she has conducted in-country data collection in China, Egypt, Indonesia, and Tanzania.
Prior to joining Itad, Jessica worked as a market development strategist and knowledge and results manager for Engineers Without Borders Canada in Uganda and Kenya.
She holds a master’s in development management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
