Prior to working for Itad, Javed held a range of project management roles with the international organizations including United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
He has a master’s degree in governance, public policy and development from the University of Sussex, which focused on political economy of international development, good governance and democracy and public policy. His dissertation evaluated the role of local informal institutions of governance in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Javed has a deep interest in international development and is passionate about using data and evidence to contribute to positive results.
