Hannah Yamada joined Itad in 2023 as a Project Officer and is now a Senior Project Officer in the Inclusive Growth and Climate Change team. In this role, she manages a diverse portfolio of project and financial responsibilities, ensuring effective delivery and oversight.
Before joining Itad, Hannah worked at the United Nations Office for Project Services, focusing on portfolio monitoring, project development and donor engagement. She also managed and developed water infrastructure projects in the private sector and gained grassroots experience working with communities in a village in Honduras.
Hannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Master’s degree specialising in water resources management and hydrology, both from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
