Giada Tu Thanh has over ten years’ experience working in international development and MEL consultancy across 15 countries.
Since joining Itad five years ago, Giada has led, designed and conducted MEL projects commissioned by The Global Fund, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UNICEF, WHO, DFID, the UK Department of Health and Social Care and Gavi. She has effectively designed and lead several structured processes that supported clients to interrogate the challenges they were facing, including Theory of Change processes and co-creation of recommendation workshops.
Her sectoral expertise encompasses global health security, antimicrobial resistance, vaccines, health financing, advocacy, strategy and organisational and development effectiveness.
Prior to joining Itad, Giada worked in Brussels for five years, where she managed MEL projects commissioned by the European Commission. Giada holds a master’s in development management from the London School of Economics, where she specialised in population and gender issues.
