Bara Sladkova is a Consultant at Itad. She specialises in the design and application of theory-based evaluation approaches at project, programme, portfolio and fund-level, including contribution analysis, and realist evaluation and synthesis.
At Itad, Bara has managed evaluation services for clients including DFID and the Global Resilience Partnership, a multi-donor initiative supported by USAID, and provided technical inputs into some of Itad’s flagship projects in the areas of climate resilience, energy access, forestry and climate policy.
She is currently managing and supporting the technical delivery of an evaluation of the second phase of the Energy Security and Resource Efficiency in Somaliland programme, which aims to accelerate the expansion and access to cheaper, cleaner and more sustainable sources of electricity in Somaliland.
Bara has eight years’ experience in low-carbon development, climate resilience, environmental policy and climate finance, gained through evaluation, project management, research and business development for employers including Itad, the European Commission, NGOs and China-based consultancies.
