Abrehet Gebremedhin has over six years’ experience living and working across Africa, Europe and North America, focusing on education and child-focussed evaluations.
Abrehet’s monitoring and evaluation skills include evidence and research generation, impact and process evaluations, and production of learning to inform future programming. She specialises in topics such as educational systems, girls’ education, child marriage and harmful traditional practices, educational rhetoric and human development services for adolescents. She has particular expertise in qualitative methods, discourse analysis, business development and project management.
Abrehet has worked at Itad for over two years. She works primarily on our series of prospective country-level evaluations for the Global Partnership for Education, the process evaluation of Adolescents 360 in Ethiopia and on our girls’ education portfolio evaluation for Dubai Cares.
