After four years as part of the Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) programme Knowledge Manager consortium, and an additional year working on sustainability through BRACED-X, Itad is proud to announce the publication of our final synthesis reports, ‘Routes to Resilience: Insights from BRACED to BRACED-X’ and ‘Resilience Results: BRACED-X Final Evaluation’.

The BRACED programme aimed to help people become more resilient to climate extremes in SouthRoutes to resilience insights and Southeast Asia and in the African Sahel and its neighbouring countries. BRACED-X, an 18-month extension, worked to consolidate and expand work already completed, with the aim to foster further progress towards the sustainability of the programme’s outcomes.

Drawing on findings from across the nine projects funded under BRACED-X, as well as from our learning through monitoring BRACED over the four-year period, our final reports present our key findings that are a continuation of our understanding about what it really takes to build the resilience of the most vulnerable to climate and disaster extremes.

You can find the final synthesis report here and the insights summary here.
