2022 will mark the third year of intakes for our Research Analyst programme; having now graduated from the programme and joined Itad as consultants in each of our four practices, our first year of RAs reflect on what made their experience in the programme so great.
The RA programme recruits straight from university at both undergraduate and masters levels. We look for people with some minimum experience of working in an office environment, but it’s a nice-to-have, not a need-to-have. We relaxed the rule on needing a masters in 2021 to make the programme more accessible and inclusive
So far, we have recruited two rounds of entrants. One in 2019 and one in 2021. The idea was to recruit annually into a two-year programme but 2020 had different plans for us due to Covid-19. While it’s not happened yet, the idea is to have a group that is in their second-year help buddy and mentor the group that are in their first year. Hoping 2022 is the first year of this coming to life!
