Applications open for Nigerian Young Impact Associates

We are excited to announce that the application for the second cohort of the Mastercard Foundation Young Impact Associates (YIA) program in Nigeria is now open.

Itad, in a consortium led by Preston Associates and in partnership with Cloneshouse Nigeria and Global Integrity, is supporting the Mastercard Foundation to deliver on its ambitious new strategy in Nigeria through targeted monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, capacity building and thought leadership.

Through its Young Africa Works strategy, Mastercard Foundation works with private sector, not-for-profit and public sector partners to ensure that millions of young people, especially young women, access quality education, financial services, and dignified work.

A key component of this work is the Young Impact Associate (YIA) programme. We are proud to be working with the other consortium partners under the leadership of Cloneshouse Nigeria to support an existing cohort of 12 young monitoring, evaluation and learning professionals to gain the skills and experience they need to become future leaders in MEL.

We are excited to announce that the application for the second cohort of the Mastercard Foundation Young Impact Associates (YIA) program in Nigeria is now open.

The Young Impact Associates program offers a robust curriculum of result-based monitoring and evaluation training, networking and mentorship aimed to develop real-world skills, tools, and experiences needed to amplify impact and lead the next generation of African evaluators.

The program includes blended training, field practical, experiential learning, structured tutorials, and on-the-job learning/ exchange program with non-governmental organisations in Nigeria.

Alongside other impact partner organisations, Itad provides technical input on the YIA initiative, including methodological approaches and quality assurance across the Young Africa Works programme.

Through its Young Africa Works strategy, Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, and Canadian EleV program, the Mastercard Foundation works with partners to ensure that millions of young people, especially young women, access quality education, financial services, and dignified work.
