Gabriele Maneo is a consultant with 10 years’ professional experience in the international development sector. He specialises in agriculture, nutrition, and market system development.
Gabriele is a consultant in Itad’s Inclusive Growth and Climate Change team; his work includes MEL support to strengthening governments’ Results Based Management practices in the rural sector and the evaluation of inclusive transformation in agriculture.
Gabriele joined Itad in 2020 as a Project Officer, providing support to Itad teams in all areas of project management. Prior to this, he was country director for an Italian NGO in Tanzania, where he coordinated a portfolio of projects focusing on rural development and food systems.
He has expertise in developing theories of change and designing result frameworks and monitoring systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in tropical agriculture and a master’s in development management from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is fluent in English, Italian and Kiswahili and is passionate about adaptive programming.
