Tarun Gupta joined Itad in 2022 as a Business Development Administrator. He holistically supports the BD team on identifying and bidding for relevant opportunities.
Prior to starting at Itad, Tarun studied International Development with Economics at the University of Bath. Here, he studied quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods and examined the specific use of randomised control trials to evaluate REDD+ initiatives in Indonesia.
He is interested in solutions to tackle climate change, with his dissertation exploring the effectiveness of Tree-Planting and Carbon Capture and Storage from the perspective of UK government policy.
He spent 12 months on a placement year at Development Consultancy DAI as a Business Development Unit Intern in 2019/2020.
