Izzy Quilter

Senior Consultant

Izzy Quilter is a senior consultant at Itad. She has nine years of experience working in social research.  

Before joining Itad, Izzy was a senior manager at Girl Effect running a project using an innovative peer research methodology. 

She has nearly a decade’s experience in research, MEL and programme design. She specialises in sexual and reproductive health and adolescent health and has worked extensively in Africa, Asia, the United States and the UK.  

Izzy has developed her technical expertise working on research and evaluation projects around family planning, maternal health, gender-based violence, menstrual health and hygiene, nutrition, economic empowerment and HIV/AIDS. She has a track record in high-level project management on multi-location projects working with a diverse set of partners. Her experience includes work for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GAVI, Nutrition International and DFID. 

Izzy is passionate about participatory methods and human-centred design. She also has an interest in technology for development and digital monitoring. She has designed entirely digital studies around COVID-19 and adolescent mental health.
