Daria Kisiel joined Itad in December 2016 as a Business Development Officer.
Daria is responsible for coordinating and supporting the process of finding new projects, developing proposals, and managing the process of identifying bidding opportunities. She is also involved in improving bidding processes and strategies.
Before joining Itad, Daria worked for 4 years in the International Development unit at Coffey, where she was a Project Coordinator, Assistant Manager and then Acting Manager, predominantly on the Governance, Social Development, Conflict and Humanitarian Professional Evidence and Applied Knowledge Services (GSDCH PEAKS) Framework Contract for DFID. She was responsible for managing the whole project cycle, from bidding, inception, and implementation, to closure of the project. She was also involved in business development, mentoring and training new staff, and quality control of proposals and reports. Her main areas of work included gender and social development, with priority countries being: Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan.
Daria is passionate about environmental protection, and worked as a volunteer in Fundacion Neotropica in Costa Rica in 2011.
Daria holds BA in Anthropology from the University of Sussex, and is PRINCE 2- qualified (Practitioner level).
