Management of the Application Process of the IUDD KaR Programme
2003-2004; United Kingdom; DFID
Itad was contracted by DFID for the management of the application process of the Infrastructure and Urban Development Departments Knowledge and Research (KaR) programme covering the water, transport, geoscience, ICT, energy and urban development sectors.
The full proposal application procedures allowed DFID’s objectives to be clarified, including a focus on poverty, livelihoods and sustainable development. The team co-ordinated the role of DFID Advisors and the input of in-house and independent technical experts in the assessment of applications. The consortium also provided strategic, technical and administrative support to the process, as well as services such as a dedicated help-line.Image © Rosa Aniva with one of her new arrivals.
