It is important to take the time to understand the complex, dynamic, non-linear context in which stakeholders communicate in order for relevant information to be exchanged in an appropriate and meaningful way. In doing so, it is possible to communicate successfully and have the power to promote social change, and influence factors affecting poverty.
ITAD is skilled in guiding the process for developing stakeholder platforms and channels through which communication can take place. This process begins with gaining a better understanding of the context in which communication takes place: identifying stakeholders, gaining an understanding of their knowledge, attitudes and practices and developing a communication strategy.
ITAD has experience of developing structures and processes established for interaction between different stakeholders at various levels, and monitoring the impact of communication activities on knowledge, attitudes and practices from grass roots up to national policy level. |
